What Services / Products Does Your Business Provide?

Divination services through tarot and astrology, Energy Healing services through Akashic Records and Reiki/Holy Spirit, Spiritual Mentorship programs for personal and spiritual development.

How Long Have You Been In Business?

The platform for "Inner Sun Alchemy" was assigned to me from Spirit at the beginning of Summer 2017 but I've been doing energy healing work, astrology, and tarot for about 17 years.

Why Did You Start Your Business?

I've been deeply connected to Spirit and working with the Higher Realms for many years but had not seriously considered doing it full-time, partly due to fear of the unknown naturally! However, God had another plan. In the course of one year I lost a close relationship and my job. I was "forced" to have no other options or distractions in order to come into alignment with my Divine Calling.

What Has Been The Toughest Part About Being In Business For Yourself?

I would say the toughest part about this is not comparing myself to others as well as not looking outside of myself to decide what offerings to bring to the world. I have to continually remind myself to rest in a more Divine Feminine way of manifesting which creates from within, which influences rather than being influenced.

What Was Your Dream Job As A Kid And Why?

Being an entertainer! And I still am connected to it now in varying degrees. I grew up playing the viola and played for about 10 years. Then I got into singing, acting, and dance while in college. I continued through my early years of moving out to Los Angeles and then shifted gears to building a community--a tribe--of people who really reflected my values. Now that I've laid the foundation for "Inner Sun Alchemy" the creative side is coming back. I've already worked on a few projects on the production side of things and will continue that this year in addition to my own personal endeavors.

What’s Your Greatest Professional Achievement?

God kicking my butt to get me into my purpose!

What Woman Inspires You And Why?

My mother. She grew up in a very patriarchal culture and had a tough young adult life. But she made, and continues to make, the decision to raise her children differently than how she was. Love ruled in our home. She bore the brunt of making that shift from the "old world" to the "new world" and I'm forever grateful for it. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for that choice....and that consistent choice.

What Will Be The Biggest Challenge For The Generation Of Black Women Behind You?

Hmm....that's a broad ask because I think this would very much be specific to a particular region around the world. However, I would say for Black women of the diaspora that the priority should be connecting to their true spiritual roots related to their direct African ancestry (versus what is becoming broadly popular in the modified West African spiritual systems in the colonized Americas). Many are being called "home" and the (forced) adaptations aren't going to hold water in the long run for generating true spiritual power, in my opinion. The primary challenge in this would be connecting with those who can teach and mentor in those lineages. The need will be great and the ones who have been called will be inundated with many women who are "waking up". But also, many have genetic connection to other spiritual lineages throughout the world as a consequence of slavery (northern Europe, India, China, etc). All lineages will need to be accessed and aligned on some level, however the greatest sense of "coming home/reunion" will happen with reconnecting to the African heritage.
