What Services / Products Does Your Business Provide?

Aura decor for wild spirits. In the form of handmade crystal jewelry and beautiful uplifting products. Currently expanding my personal business of motivation.

How Long Have You Been In Business?

Nearly 3 years

Why Did You Start Your Business?

I began my business as a means to make extra income as a single mom using skills I already had. It has blossomed into an empowering community of Queens and Kings who I love creating for.

What Has Been The Toughest Part About Being In Business For Yourself?

Growing extra arms and expanding my mental capacity for constant service. I work alone which means I am designer, maker, social media manager, photographer, model, logistics and supply chain specialist, customer service agent, and all around badass! I learned too late to build in time for myself, my personal life, and my other dreams. No one is going to give the time to me besides me. However, I'm much more in charge of that now. Especially since I have a 4 year old daughter who is also discovering little dreams of her own. My job is also to help her develop all of her own interests and talents.

What Was Your Dream Job As A Kid And Why?

I'm a performer at heart and have been since I was 3.
As a child I think my biggest dream was probably to be the dancer-actress-singer sort of triple threat. I'm coming back for all of that shortly in one form or another, but Nirvana Wild has afforded me something I also knew I'd always be a child, a self-employed business owner. My first business was actually at the age of 8 or 9 selling handmade beaded jewelry and handmade flavored popcorn after dance class. I smile thinking how that's come full circle.

What’s Your Greatest Professional Achievement?

To be honest, many things have been considered big achievements to me. First and foremost is definitely sliding into self employment with something I started as a side hustle. Despite attempts by family to talk me into sticking to something more "safe and secure." I believed in my dream, my abilities, and the loud screams from Spirit enough to just jump in. And haven't looked back since!

I've manifested being approached by magazines, major beauty brands, influencers I've admired for years, cable network events and television shows to feature my products. From the types of requests I get, many of them clearly think my company is much larger than it is, haha. But even the times I'm unable to accept and deliver on the request, I'm honored at the consideration. I also find heartfelt messages from customers about how wonderful they feel receiving, wearing, or using my jewelry/crystals as special achievements. Or the magical sort of effect they feel it's had on their day to day. I also love being told that something I said moved someone or that someone loves my energy. Knowing I've been spiritually clear or articulate enough to be felt through the cybersphere feels amazing. I always seek to create businesses which reflect the very essence of who I am. It's dope when others can feel that.

Thank you for the opportunity to just sit and reflect on all of these just from this very question. Sometimes we move so fast and focus so much on the next move that we miss all of the goals and dreams we hadn't even dreamt for ourselves that have already come to pass.

What Woman Inspires You And Why?

What woman doesn't inspire me! Women who seek to uplift, inspire, elevate, and remind others of their power and their worth are my favorites. Those of us who are comfortable enough in our own skin to own our tragedies and show others how to triumph have very special places in my heart.

What Will Be The Biggest Challenge For The Generation Of Black Women Behind You?

Learning to let Spirit lead and not being led astray be people who have never even attempted to see their vision or to go for their own dreams. We seem to live in a world overflowing with opinions and unsolicited advice these days. It can appear as though too much of the world thinks their own opinions and judgment of someone's life or choices should be taken into consideration. I pray self care (TRUE self care and introspection) becomes the new wave and staying aligned and connected with Source is at the forefront. I'm very optimistic about that.
